    Popis projektu

    The client have built a platform that connects customers to their in-house trading and data centres. The mission is to revolutionise the UK energy industry. The engineers need to have good experience of building cloud services, along with microservices experience and being able to deploy in a cloud environment, you will build solutions to the right data to those who need it, whether via web interfaces, RESTful APIs or event based data streams.

    Software Engineer (Python) x 2 – Trading Platform Team

    • Engineers will be building tools to allow traders to easily and reliably interact with our trading database.
    • Create the right APIs and data models to allow trade and related data to flow in and out of the
    • Write readable, maintainable and well-tested code.
    • Participate in scoping sessions and support to build the product roadmap.
    • Collaborate with others to design and optimise code.

    Tech skills:

    • 3 years back-end software development experience in Python
    • Django
    • Public cloud services (AWS preferred)
    • Experience working with relational databases, e.g. PostgreSQL.
    • Have an understanding of container-based architecture – Docker and/or Kubernetes.
    • Knowledge standard methodologies and best practices: such as Agile development, CI/CD, object-oriented design

    Technology and Process

    All teams run Scrum with two-week sprints. All have the assistance of a dedicated Engineering Manager and Product Manager.
